The New Era of Telecommuting

The majority of the world is responding to the unprecedented global events by answering the call and staying at home. Many of us have been asked to work from home and we are adjusting to this new routine. We are doing it. Together.

For those of us with children, there can be some juggling but just make sure that everyone has their own dedicated workspace. If electronics need to be shared, then carve out a schedule where everyone's needs can be met so that school work and office work can be completed on time.

Through this experience, we are learning innovative ways to be productive that we will take back to the workplace. What are you doing to work more creatively? How are you going to keep yourself in front of your clients? How are you going to inspire your coworkers and your team? Keep track of the ways you are innovating!

My hope is that your work day is shorter. My hope is that all of those hours spent commuting are now spent doing something you love. My hope is that this forced isolation will encourage you to find meaningful ways to reconnect with your loved ones, friends and family and your greater community.  Rekindle your creativity. Bring exercise into your life. Learn something new. Read a book you've never had the time for. Enjoy your home. Take care of yourself.
