"Forte O'Neill's philosophy is to teach with the gifted tools of the grace of nature's treasures in gardening and styles of fashion discovered through art appreciation to enhance the joys and true gifts of life by being one's best self."

In the early 1990's Ssusan Forte O' Neill launched S.Garland Designs
a full line of fashion accessories "From Head to Toe" for the "Women On The Go" Touted by The International Accessory Magazine as a new designer to watch, Forte O'Neill used her fashion savvy to create a line of affordable accessories for the professional women on a special budget.

Forte O'Neill as a true trendsetter of societal evolution, saw the changes taking place in the lives of her female business friends. They began to enter the next station in life with the challenges of balancing marriage and new families and careers. She saw how many of her peers were torn between their personal lives and the demands of their professional lives. A strategic business plan for S. Garland Designs was developed to incorporate their talents with the manufacturing of the product from the individual's home. With this innovative business plan in place, the team of women became the manufacturing arm of S. Garland Designs. They were able to stay at home with their children, while during their off-hours, produce a line of fashion accessories.

S. Garland Designs became a cottage industry in the true sense of the description. A national line of fashion goods was launched in Washington, D.C. and sold in all the major market cities of the United States.

Forte O'Neill using her marketing expertise secured placement of the line in several high-end boutiques and two major national department stores, Bullocks/Macy and Nordstrom.

Forte O'Neill became a regular designer to meet at the stores working with individual costumers to help them create their "own" look to meet their day to day fashion needs.

Forte O'Neill's reputation for creating individual fashion accessories for the "Women On the Go" opened doors to a regular clientele. As the line grew, she also saw the need to expand the line to create unique cufflinks for the "Man On the Go". Many of her clients included political leaders and families, such as the Governor and First Lady of California and corporate and industry leaders.

Forte O'Neill also developed a personal image development service for both men and women. Today Forte O'Neill still provides this consulting service teaching individual clients from small and large corporations how to help discover a balance in both their professional and personal lives by "reclaiming their life's energies".

Forte O'Neill has incorporated a business philosophy of creating one's own individual path for a fuller and more productive life. The overall philosophy includes the understanding of one's own mind, body and soul to discover both their internal and external beauty.
