Take
The Journey….
To Remember Who You Are…
To Rediscover Your Heart… |
|
During
my professional journey becoming an accomplished entrepreneur and business
person, I discovered a common theme for many climbing the “corporate”
ladders to success:
“I”,
can do it all “Alone”….
That
“I” can balance the ever more demanding and longer work hours
career path with building a
home life and family….
We
all truly began to believe the art of new technologies would give us new
freedoms; that with the click of a mouse we could be anywhere, anytime;
all while allowing us free personal time to meditate on thoughts, exercise
and be a full time spouse and parent….
Yet,
here in the early years of the 21st century, we have found the new technology
revolution did not give us more freedom. We have less time to ourselves,
and are constantly chasing the daily clock to meet the endless demands
of just living….
The
freedom of new technology has quickly become a myth…leaving many
of us on an endless road of unfulfilled emptiness. The cycle of over-committed
schedules, the learned habit of busyness—the selling out of our
individuality; the loss of creative thinking, and our heartfelt dreams.
We
face what seems like a lost and hopeless dilemma of “Who am I”…”How
Did I Get Here…and What is Here…”
As
we approach what we thought was our ultimate goal, that of reaching the
top of imaginary “corporate ladder,” I think it is important
for us to take a moment to stop…
…to
stop everything…
and
to regain our inner strength to re-evaluate our heartfelt goals and mission
for our own journey of life.
“Remembering
Who You Are….Rediscovering Your Heart,” was originally
developed as a straightforward workbook for women. With child-like and
playful illustrations, the book presents a comforting approach, nurturing
and supporting the reader through the challenges that women, of all ages,
are facing today.
Many
readers shared with me their experiences of journey though the book. At
first they thought the reading was light and simple; as they began to
explore deeper into the words, they found the journey became more challenges,
and discovered the book’s main focus: for “us” to stop….and
choose to change our current habits and behaviors….to give ourselves
the freedom to Rediscover Our Very Own Gifted Hearts.
Through
my Leadership and Life Management Training Program, I have also had the
opportunity to expand the book to include a broader audience for both
men and women.
I
invite you to explore a special workbook “Remembering Who
You Are…. Journey to Rediscover Your Heart”…to
take a step off the ladder of your daily life; to rediscover your very
special heart; and to create your own dreams for living and growing throughout
your next chapters of life….
Give
yourself permission to have a true gift; of living a life of freedom by
expanding your heart’s desires and spirit-filled destiny…
